Stacey Mania is a figurative painter with numerous ongoing bodies of work, including beach and pool scenes, sunsets, florals, animals, portraits of artists, musicians, athletes, politicians (well-known local musician/activist Ani DiFranco and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown have attended her art receptions and signed her paintings). Ms. Mania’s work has been exhibited at museums and galleries throughout Western New York for over a decade, including the Buffalo History Museum, Burchfield Penney Art Center Community Gallery, and ArtSpace Buffalo Gallery, where thirty of her portraits were featured in the exhibit, “The Women of Arts Work.” In 2015, Mania and her work were the subject of an article in “People First” OPWDD Newsletter, and in 2019, she was one of three artists chosen for the exhibition “Spectrum Language” at the Christine Frechard Gallery in Pittsburgh PA.
